Sweet article!

@bbplayer5: I think there's a logical reason Obama keeps showing up in Katie's posts related to politicians who want to control sports: He's the one leading the charge to control sports. He's also the one who took 3 days to respond to the Underwear Bomber's attack, but seems to always find time to vacation in Hawaii, appear on late-night comedy shows or narrate basketball games.

Let's get over the Bush hatred and talk about what is going on today: Obama is leading Congress in the direction of controlling sports. Politics and sports should not be mixed. It's funny how you admit that Katie is "smart," and your only argument against what she has to say to accuse her of what she MIGHT have said if Bush had done the same thing Obama did. This is pretty judgmental on your part. Particularly because while Bush played sports, he never tried to control sports like President Obama is. Additionally, Bush is not the president today, and Obama is. So, let's focus on what Obama is doing and saying because he's the president making poor decisions today, not Bush.

Dear Katie,

I stumbled across your blog and i am just in shock with some of things you write. First off, you seem to have a blame obama for everything. You criticize for the dumbest things, like going to a basketball game a sport that he really loves. When he was with the announcers he was having a good time and joking around with them. If it was Bush or some conservative i bet you would of loved it. You have a problem of looking at everything from red glasses. You don't present any new arguments. Its the same old crap that got us into the mess. You are smart but very narrow minded which in the end will kill your party
