Hot Halloween costume idea
By Katie Kieffer
Remember last Halloween when I showcased the Sexy Acorn Halloween costume? This year, my sister Amie and I decided to keep the “sexy” while taking out the “scandal” in our 2010 costume.

$1,000,000,000,000 Hold ‘em
By Katie Kieffer
Forget high stakes Las Vegas poker. If you want to win big, come over to my place for a round of $1,000,000,000,000 Hold ‘em! The pot is a trillion dollars. Grab your hoodie and sit at my poker table for a while.
Last year, I invited the “U.S. Government,” “U.S. Corporations,” and “Foreign economies” over to play this juiced-up version of Texas Hold ‘em. These falsehoods hold our entire society back from economic recovery. If we don’t understand the people who have and create wealth, we will become a poor country while other nations laugh in our face.
Unfortunately, tycoons like Bill Gates, Bill Gates, Sr. and Warren Buffet are promoting these falsehoods by promoting Initiative 1098 in Washington state. I-1098 would require the wealthy to substantially shoulder the state’s tax burden. “Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer, Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos and John Nordstrom of the Seattle-based retail chain — are throwing big money into the campaign to defeat it,” reports the Los Angeles Times. Staring down our shirts
By Katie Kieffer
I’m starting to feel like the government wants to look at us in an inappropriate manner.
The Obama Administration just introduced a bill that would turn the U.S. into a mini Saudi Arabia. Here’s a taste of what’s inside this bill: The U.S. government would have access to your BlackBerry™ or other smart phone messages, your tweets on Twitter™, your video-conferences on Skype™ and your profile on Facebook®.
