It’s my blog’s first birthday! I want to celebrate with you. Let’s take a few minutes over cake and ice cream to remember all the fun times we had together this year:

- Conducted video interviews of young entrepreneurial companies with EideCom Media.
- Created video with EideCom Media to promote free enterprise for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
- Partnered with The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal to host an exclusive event at SEVEN Sushi Ultralounge and SKYBAR called Affari for young professionals. Click here and here for photos from the event.
- Spoke to young professionals and commercial real estate executives in Chicago at NAIOP’s National Development Conference.
- Honored as one of the Twin Cities 25 Finest Young Professionals.
- Created a video to generate awareness for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with EideCom Media.
- Appeared on 100.3 FM K-TALK (The Sue Jeffers Show) and AM1570 Twin Cities Business Radio (The Peter McClellan Show).
- Contributed to the Big Trade Up charity with my artistic partner, Amie Kieffer.
- Showcased the creative cartoons of Amie Kieffer. Remember the Sexy Acorn?
- Traveled to Europe for the month of June. I shared my Italian journey with you here, here, here, and here. I posted my Irish adventures here, here and here.
- Launched “KatieKieffer for Mobile.” When you bring my website up on your smart phone, it’s easy to read because it formats itself for the smaller screen.
- Spoke at the MN Tax Day at the Capitol on how the Tea Party Movement can engage young professionals. For the video clip, click here.
