This week, capitalism takes on Dallas Mavericks owner, billionaire Mark Cuban.
What’s Cool
Capitalism shoots a slam dunk by proving that rich people improve life and technology for everyone by spending money in the private sector on their own self-interest, not by paying more taxes:
What’s Not
Cuban wants the rich to pay more taxes. (I’ve already shown that taxing the rich hurts everyone.) Cuban also suggests that the U.S. should emulate communist countries that create 5-year plans:

Amen!
I do not understand what Mr. Cuban has in mind when he says that he is willing to pay his fair share, so to speak, in order to get the economy back on track while at the same time maintaining that he (and other wealthy individuals like him) would most certainly do a better job of allocating resources than the government. Since when has government ever been efficient from an economic point of view? Increasing taxes will do anything but make the government less wasteful and get entitlements under control. If you want to see efficiency, quit feeding the glutton so much.
