Counting Blessings, Backwards
Ten, nine, eight… what do you appreciate? When life seems crazy or hopeless, count your blessings backwards—that is, find something to be thankful for in the midst of darkness. It is reverse psychology for adults.
Think of the most onerous regulation or politician in your life and find one reason you are thankful for this trial. For example, President Obama’s reelection could be an opportunity for you to develop a stronger character or feel greater motivation to achieve your goals. Republicans Find Themselves
Soul-searching is not in the GOP’s blood. Many Republicans see themselves as stoic, rugged and hardworking individuals. Cleaning Obama’s Bloodstains
Blood is staining the globe. Not the blood of terrorists (enemies of America), but the blood of innocent Americans. We cannot resuscitate our loved ones. We can only attempt to clean President Obama’s bloodstains by removing him—and all who think like him—from public office.
