This Memorial Day weekend, I want to honor the lives of two men who served our country and made a profound difference in my life: My grandfathers, Grandpa Rick and Papa Chuck. These two men touched me and countless others with their love, advice and proud patriotism.

As you remember your own loved ones who have fallen while carrying the flag, or, as you feel the emptiness of your loved ones who are currently serving abroad, I encourage you to think about the ways that you could serve your country this year, regardless of whether you will ever serve in a military capacity.

Have a very happy Memorial Day.
